Dana Lerner has been taking formal dance since the age of three. Her background consists of professional training in Ballet, Tap, and Jazz, as well as, having studied Modern Dance, Hip Hop and Lyrical. She trained in several schools throughout New York, including private training with a Rockette. She competed with dance companies and performed in Community Theater. She has taught in dance studios in Brooklyn and New Jersey, as well as, taught lessons privately.

Dana is an amazing teacher and is fantastic with the girls, “patience” must be her middle name, because she has lots of it. Leia loves going to ballet, asking to go almost every day. It is amazing to see a little girl with no ballet or tap instruction turn into a tiny dancer. I look forward to watching my daughter grow into a beautiful dancer. I have seen what the older girls can do and I am amazed that one day, Leia will also be doing what the “big girls” do. My entire family attended her recital, and it was such a beautiful performance, for all the girls.
